Thinking about moving to Mexico?

For some Americans and Canadians, Mexico has been home sweet home for more than 20 years. These are the lucky few who got “in” before Mexico became mainstream. For all the others, Mexico is now only becoming an option. I personally first went to Mexico 16 years ago as a student, to see this exotic and mysterious country. I visited Teotihuacan, climbed the pyramids, took a bus down to Oaxaca and Guatemala, and crossed back into Mexico on a canoe… Strangers helped me find my way, offered me shelter, friendship and advice. I never felt unsafe although I didn’t speak much Spanish, and must have looked lost most of the time. I traveled for two weeks on my own and fell in love with Mexico.

Safe, Friendly, No Pressure Trips

I want to share with you the Mexico I know. Our real estate tours are designed to help you discover this exotic and friendly country in a safe, fun, and professional way. Whether you are longing for a home on the beach, a colonial gem, or land to build on, we show you how to turn your dream into reality. Properties abound, offering the comfort and peacefulness few can afford in our country.

We pledge to take you on a relaxed, no pressure tour of Mexico. We discuss the real estate market and laws, immigration visas, banking, health care, rentals, life as an expatriate, food, language, history, culture… all in 4 or 7 days, depending on the package you choose.

We are independent and proud to be so. There are no strings attached, no commissions, no sales pitches. We are here for you and nothing else. Each tour has a bilingual tour guide, carefully selected experts, and a tour director from MiCasaInMexico. We make it comfortable, safe, and fun!

We take you to Playa del Carmen, Merida, or San Miguel de Allende. The real estate knowledge you gain can be transferred anywhere in the country.

Mexico is more than… an affordable place to live. It is a place where sunsets color the ocean, where historic plazas are alive and vibrant, where friendly faces can be found everyday, where one can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle away from the hustle of a previous life…

But buyers beware… the laws and of course, the culture, are different. You must learn the ropes prior to moving or investing there. Helping you navigate these waters is what we do. So I hope you will join us on a wonderful, fun, professional trip where you will get to learn if Mexico is the right fit for you. We promise knowledge and a great time. After all, where else could you walk into a seminar wearing flip flops and sipping a margarita?

¡Hasta Luego!
